Who runs the site
Enrico's Place is the personal, non-commercial website of Enrico Di Francesco, who is also the data controller. For any question about privacy you can write to edf@edifrancesco.it.
No cookies, no profiling
The site uses no cookies, shows no advertising and has no forms to fill in. To know how many people visit it I use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly counter: it uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not follow anyone from site to site. It only collects summary, anonymous data, such as the page viewed, the referring site, the type of browser and device, the language, the screen width and the approximate country. The data stay on servers in Europe and are not passed on to anyone (goatcounter.com/privacy). The fonts and the book presentation video are also hosted here. That is why there is no banner to accept.
Technical server data
As with any website, the server that hosts it (Aruba S.p.A.) automatically records some technical data about visits: the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. They are used only to run and protect the service, are kept for the period set by the provider and are not used to identify visitors.
If you write to me
If you send me an email, I use your address and your message only to reply to you. I do not pass them on to anyone or use them for anything else.
People in the photos
The album also shows other people, photographed at public events, on duty or among friends. If you appear in a photo and would rather it were removed, write to me at edf@edifrancesco.it and I will take it down as soon as possible.
Links to other sites
The Zibaldone and the other pages contain links to outside websites. When you open them you leave this site, and the privacy rules of those sites apply.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) you can ask at any time which data concern you, and have them corrected or deleted, by writing to edf@edifrancesco.it. You can also contact the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
